Support the College Athlete Right to Organize Act
College sports today aren't like the college sports of generations past. Big time college sports, in particular, can no longer be considered "amateur." But the NCAA continues to deny their athletes economic and bargaining rights while treating them commodities — all while raking in billions of dollars in profit for themselves.
That's where the College Athlete Right to Organize Act comes in. It will not only give college athletes the right to collectively bargain; it will also amend the National Labor Relations Act to define college athletes as employees, ensure that athletes won’t waive their right to bargain in scholarship agreements, and so much more.
It's past time to give college athletes the respect and dignity they deserve as workers. We urge you to co-sponsor the College Athlete Right to Organize Act, and pass it into law.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman — along with Sens. Chris Murphy and Bernie Sanders in the Senate — is leading on the College Athlete Right to Organize Act, which will give college athletes the right to collective bargain.
College athletes are workers, and their lack of collective bargaining rights is a racial, civil, and labor rights issue. Please your name next to Jamaal's to call for this legislation to be passed into law:
